Pastor Jason Tew is the lead minister here at UCCC. Brother Jason has a Servant Leadership style. When you meet our pastor, you think he is just another excited member due to his humility and enthusiasm. His style of preaching is more of a conversationalist than that of an evangelist. His authenticity shows through his biblical expository preaching and interesting historic accounts of central biblical characters which offers us a Christ-centered relatable message easily understood by all.

Pastor Jason’s philosophy of being Christ-centered is defined as unity and truth in the same package. His hero in the bible next to Jesus is Barnabas because of Barnabas’ ability to equip the saints, disciples, and ordinary people through edification and mentorship.

Pastor Jason loves his family starting with his wife Joana. Joana and Jason have been married since 1989 and have two daughters, two sons-in-law, and currently one grandchild. Jason and Joana live on a hobby cattle farm in Eclectic, Alabama. Jason loves numerous outdoor hobbies such as hunting, fishing, farming, hiking, golfing, college sports, and visiting with friends. Most of the time you can find Jason at the church doing the ministry of serving others.
